Tara Homasi is an Iranian born artist based in Brooklyn, New York. Her works investigates the psychological patterns and behaviors related to memory, longing and coping with traumatic histories within a surreal humor.

Tara creates her paintings, using collage, mixed media and her strong expressive brush strokes to add layer and intensity. Each work narrates a story, like a still image of a film.

Her solo show will open at Cafe Nadery on Friday September 4th from 6-9 pm.

The exhibition runs till September 30th.
