From Persian mosaics to art nouveau designs, from Indian
fabrics to Portuguese tiles, from marbled Italian paper to
swirling arabesques – the exuberance of patterns and
embellishments from around the world form the basis of her
acrylic paintings. A delicate patchwork of luscious patterns
assembles my landscapes; the people in them are anchored
by backgrounds of shimmering gold.

Her work offers a whimsical view of the world around us – a
cheerful view, a celebration of a world full of color, joy and
enchantment.
